Sunfilm AG

Sunfilm AG started up in 2006 with the goal of becoming one of the world's largest suppliers of high-value thin layer modules. In 2008 the first production line with an annual nominal capacity of 60 MWp will go into production. Planning and realization of the 20,000-square-meter factory in Großröhrsdorf in Saxony was overseen by ib vogt. A second line with an additional 60 MWp is already under construction. The technology is based on a tandem thin layer of amorphous and micro-crystalline silicon.
