Berlin, 10th of June 2013: David Hogg, the 25 year veteran solar industry executive has been appointed to CEO of ib vogt GmbH. The move together with the appointment of Carl von Braun as CFO will enable the firm to accelerate its significant international expansion plans.

Berlin, 15th April 2013: ib vogt GmbH has completed about 30 MWp of new solar power installations in the UK in the first quarter of 2013. The addition of these projects four new projects takes ib vogt’s UK capacity to over 55 MWp.

Berlin, 9th April 2013: ib vogt GmbH enjoyed a successful financial year in 2012 with a turnover of 45 million euros. The operational result was almost double that of 2011. The company anticipates further growth for 2013 and is focussing its activities on Europe and new markets in Asia.

Berlin, 2nd July 2012: After just 15 days of construction, ib vogt GmbH has completed the first phase of construction for the Thunpadel solar power plant in Lower Saxony, which has a rated output of 4.7 MWp. The solar power plant will be expanded to achieve a total rated output of around 10 MWp by the end of September.

Berlin, 16th February 2012: Economics Minister Mike Mabuyakhulu from the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa recently paid a visit to the Berlin-Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt regions. His purpose was to visit companies in the renewable energies sector to find out about the latest technological developments for a project in eThekwini/City of Durban. A strategic partnership with local networks means their members are now the preferred partners for this project.

Berlin, 19th January 2012: The Berlin-based photovoltaic company ib vogt GmbH has rounded off the previous business year by tripling its turnover to €48 million. New business areas have been added to the portfolio and the restructuring of the company has been completed.
