FAQ
1. In which technologies do you offer your services?
Whether dealing with crystalline ingots, wafers, cells, modules or thin-film applications – we cover the entire photovoltaic value chain with our knowledge and experience. We offer our services in consultation, planning and project management independently of manufacturers and technology.
2. Do you take on the entire implementation of a project, or only certain parts of it?
We offer our services both as complete turnkey packages (EPC) or as partial services (EPCM). Examples of partial services include market, technology and equipment evaluations, feasibility and concept studies, basic designs and specific optimisation measures.
3. Which planning areas do you cover?
Our focus is on integrated factory planning and process facilities. However, it goes without saying that we also deal with architecture, structural framework planning, electrical planning and HVAC systems.
4. Do you also take on projects as an EPC partner?
We implement projects as both EPC and EPCM partners (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management). As EPC partners, our customers receive all planning, procurement and construction services from a single source. We coordinate and manage the entire project right up to the turnkey handover. Financial and project risks are passed on to us, which thus relieves the burden from the customer.
5. Do you also deal with start-up businesses?
We offer comprehensive advice to start-up businesses concerning the market, technology and equipment and also offer support when creating business plans, launching the product and during certification. Investors, established industry leaders and research institutions are also part of our clientele.
6. Are you active on an international level?
Yes, we are active internationally and implement projects all over the world – wherever our customers may be. For more information, take a look at our international references.
7. Do you have international partnerships?
Due to our many years of experience, we have established a wide-reaching network of industry experts and partners. In each of our international project offices, we work with regional partners and suppliers and adapt to the local cost structures.
8. What does your integrated planning approach involve?
We always consider our factory projects as a whole based on their entire service life. The roles of layout, logistics and production planning are just as important as the consideration of operating and investment costs, efficiency and sustainability.
9. Do you work together with hand-picked manufacturers?
We maintain excellent relationships with high-quality suppliers – especially those in Germany. Nonetheless, we operate independently of equipment suppliers and technology.
