CSG Solar AG

CSG Solar inaugurated its first integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility, designed, planned and managed by ib vogt, in Thalheim/Germany in March 2006. The Australian crystalline silicon on glass technology - from which the company gets its name - uses an extremely thin layer of silicon which is deposited directly onto a glass sheet suitable for mounting outdoors. The thin film technology makes it possible to produce solar modules using significantly less silicon than wafer-based alternatives.
